Improve your warehouse 8000 series steel shelving with Lyon's closed base strips. These strips help prevent items from falling beneath the shelving unit and can be used with closed uprights to close off the entire bottom of the shelving section.
The closed base strips from Lyon are made of heavy-gauge steel and are available in 36-inch or 48-inch widths to fit closed shelving sections. These strips feature extended ends that fit behind t-posts on either side, and can be easily attached to the front flange of the shelf with three push-in fasteners. Closed bases fit snugly against the bottom shelf in the section and align with the top of the shelf. They are available in 3-inch and 6-inch heights.
Our closed shelf bases come with the necessary fasteners and a strong, smooth Dove Gray finish. Our powder coat application process ensures a finish that is impact and corrosion resistant. Each package contains ten base strips as well as the necessary push-in fasteners. You can also expand your storage solutions further by adding more 8000 Series Box Shelves to your shelving unit. These bases are compatible with both Original and Updated 8000 Series Shelves!
