 Upgrade your Lyon 8000 Series closed shelving section by effortlessly transforming it into a lockable storage cabinet with Lyon's swinging doors. These doors are specifically designed to fit perfectly on Lyon's 36" W x 84" H 8000 series Closed Starter Units, and can easily be attached to t-posts or the old style offset angle posts. Made from 18-gauge steel, these doors are built to last a lifetime with maximum durability.

Each swinging door of Lyon's 8000 series shelving is directly mounted to the front upright using three zinc plated steel hinges, allowing full access to the shelves inside as they open beyond 90°. The included lock clips attach to both the top and bottom shelves, and a lockbar on the inside of the right-hand door extends into the lock clips to secure the swinging doors in place when closed. The right-hand door also features a chrome plated handle, which engages the galvanized lockbar assembly inside the door when turned.

The slight overlap on the right-hand door prevents the left-hand door from opening when closed, providing extra security for your contents. For added protection, use the built-in lock to secure the swinging doors closed. The included 7040 lock comes with two keys. These doors are available in a strong and smooth Dove Gray finish. Our powder coat application process creates a finish that is impact and corrosion resistant.
