The Lyon NF8856 back-to-back tie is an ideal solution for connecting two sections of 8000 series industrial steel shelving. This tie is designed to maintain stability and spacing while not taking up any valuable storage space on your shelves. By using this tie along with other shelf accessories, you can easily create uniform rows of back-to-back shelving. It's important to ensure that your double rows of shelving are straight to maintain correct aisle spacing.

Crafted from heavy-duty steel, the NF8856 back-to-back tie fits on both open and closed shelving sections with 8000 series t-post uprights. You can securely mount the tie to the 2 t-posts using the two included nuts and bolts. The bolts are designed to fit into one of the keyhole slots on the t-post uprights. For optimal support and stability, Lyon recommends using 2 ties on each end upright post and every other upright post in between.

While the NF8856 back-to-back tie provides support and stability, it's important to anchor your shelving to the floor. Make sure your shelves are level and plumb before anchoring, and use only properly rated concrete wedge anchors.
