ISS had a great year filled with many cool projects, fun company events, and exciting changes. We wanted to highlight a few of these things below to give you all a taste of what we’ve been up to this year.

47 states

This year, we expanded even further and sold to 47 states. From schools to food suppliers to hospitals and all types of warehouses, we were able to provide storage solutions to a variety of industries across the United States. Our design experts played a huge role in making this happen. By being able to provide storage system design help over the phone, we’re able to assist states from the west coast to the east coast.

2,080 hours

This year, we spent many…many, hours talking about different storage solutions. We considered the most efficient options for your facilities and how we can adapt to best help you.

Part of this time was also spent reflecting on who we are as a company, the people that make our company what it is and the direction we are headed in. After much discussion, we created a video to capture who we are. We discussed the purpose of our company – resulting in a mission statement, what we want to accomplish long term – resulting in our vision statement, and who we are as a team – resulting in our core values.

12 conferences

We had the pleasure of being able to further our knowledge, business, and networking with the conferences that we attended this year. These events always help to further our growth, so we make sure to come when we can and take advantage of this time with others in the industry. Our team is excited to already have some conferences on our calendar for next year!

1 million pounds

Our warehouse crew was hard at work this year. With all the fun projects we had going on this year, our warehouse kept up with all the different requests for these different projects. They shipped over one million pounds of steel just out of our stock this year.

6 giving back events

We’re happy to say that this year, we were able to attend several charitable events as a team. Some of these included trivia night in support of Friends of Kids With Cancer, the Joshua Chamberlain Society Shoot for the Troops, and the Metro Vocational Golf Tournament. We make an effort to support charities that mean something to our team members.

Welcoming…Infor!

This year, we scheduled many meetings and spent a lot of time training for our new ERP system. We worked with the Acumen Group throughout the Implementation and Go-Live process for Infor CSD, an ERP that will enable advanced inventory management, business process improvement, integrated financial management, and improved customer experience. If things have started looking a little different, that’s why!

Many, many fun company outings

This year, we made sure to balance our hard work with some fun company outings. Highlights include our catfishing trip on the Mississippi river with our partners at WireCrafters, our annual golfing day as a team, our Horse Hookey trip to Fairmont Park, and of course, our Christmas party where we took some time to reflect on the past year as a team and enjoy some delicious food. We look forward to even more fun outings in the next year!

Looking forward to 2025 – office expansion
