New facility addition. Racking needed. Custom colors. 4 weeks. How did we make this happen?

A busy truck center gave Industrial Shelving Systems a call as they were in need of a variety of different sized pallet racks. With a new wing in their facility, this center wanted a new storage system for their truck inventory. The challenge? This heavy-duty industrial shelving needed to be in their custom company color, a vibrant red. Adding to this complexity, they needed this pallet racking in four weeks’ time to meet their facility opening deadline.

“This customer was in a pinch for some quick-ship racking in a custom color, which is always difficult with long lead times,” says Tom Compton.

Solution

With just four weeks to get these industrial shelving racks designed and powder coated, Industrial Shelving Systems got started right away. We first reached out to Tri-Boro Shelving, a reliable partner that provides custom industrial shelving and racking. Together, we got to designing and installing racking for this truck center. By assessing this center’s inventory, we were able to determine the dimensions needed for this pallet racking. With limited time on our hands, Tri-Boro was able to start this process quickly to match this customer’s size and color requirements.

Thankfully, the deadline was met, and the shelving was customized and ready for install. “Tri-Boro was able to powder coat custom color red in under four weeks,” Tom added.
