Problem:

This local data center had growing security concerns and needed enhanced utility management. The current setup had utilities hanging from the ceiling, but they needed a secure enclosure that would be as close to the ceiling as possible.

Solution:

The ISS team created custom wire cages to enclose the IT infrastructure. The heavy-duty cage was built around the cables hanging from the ceiling, providing security and optimizing the space. See the full case study here.

Problem:

A new dealership was in need of a turnkey parts department. This automotive storage needed to be all black to fit their aesthetic, and they needed help optimizing their space.

Solution:

Industrial Shelving Systems designed tire racks with mobile aisles moved by hand cranks. This allowed for three extra tire racks/ 33% more tire space. Rousseau drawers with mobile aisle systems were also installed for special tools, allowing for easy mobility and access. Find the full case study here.

Problem:

Prairie State Energy Campus needed the Industrial Shelving Systems team to design their entire warehouse storage space, creating storage for materials of various shapes and sizes. This warehouse serves coal mines, so it was important their inventory was organized, stored safely, and designed for efficiency.

Solution:

ISS created an efficient mix of storage media, including a custom fabricated standing rod storage rack, custom hydraulic hose storage rack, modular drawer cabinets, pallet racking, Rousseau shelving, flammable cabinets, spool storage racks, and a heavy-duty work table and desks. Problem:

A local brewery was worried about warehouse safety, specifically with storing their pallets of bottles in the warehouse. These pallets were stacked to the ceiling to save floor space, but they were worried about warehouse worker safety if the bottles were to fall.

Solution:

ISS designed and installed a security partition to protect the pallets from falling during accidental movement when extracting the pallets. We also installed a heavy-duty safety guardrail to allow for a pedestrian walkway for warehouse workers. See the full project here.
